Did you know that the type of exercise we do when we are young and the foods we eat can affect the way our bones grow for the rest of our lives?

There are multiple studies like this one that show how weight bearing, resistance exercise and getting enough Vitamin D and Calcium can lower our chances of developing osteoporosis later in life.

Some exercises that are great for improving muscle and bone mass are hiking, dancing, lifting weights, and bodyweight moves like squat jumps.

As for nutrition, eating plenty of leafy greens that are rich in vitamins and minerals, fruits, and proteins can help with bone and muscle repair.
